Welcome to Millwood Farm Equestrian Center (MFEC). At MFEC you will enjoy a beautiful twenty stall barn with an indoor warm water wash stall, full bathroom with shower, laundry room, trailer parking, huge turnouts, all weather ring, schooling cross- country jumps, and miles of hacking.
There are many ways to enjoy MFEC. If your focus is competing, training horses, Pony Club ratings, other equestrian certifications, foxhunting, or you simply want to improve through lessons, MFEC can help. We believe that all horses and riders can be improved, so no problem or need is too big or too small.

FACILITIES
MFEC was built in 1988. It covers 116 acres, including 9 pastures and a 20 stall barn. Stalls are 16’x16’ and feature poured rubber floors. The barn is fully equipped with tack rooms, a hot and cold wash stall, full bathroom with shower and laundry, and a meeting room for un-mounted meetings. There is also an area for trailer parking and a modern apartment for working students and foxhunters.
At MFEC you will enjoy an excellent riding facility. We have a 25x60 meter ring with footing of a sand/bluestone mixture and lots of unique jumps for show jumping and grid work. For outdoor riding we have miles of hacking, a measured gallop field, and a starter cross country course.
LOCATION:
Millwood Farm is ideally located along the Blue Ridge Mountains on route 50 across from the Virginia State Arboretum at Blandy in the heart of Virginia horse country and USEA Area II. We are convenient to Middleburg, Winchester, Washington D.C., 20 minutes to cross county schooling facilities, and 45 minutes from Morven Park Equestrian Center.
